Welcome to Saumer Time Alpaca Ranch After raising cattle for over 35 years, we decided to diversify our farming operating by entering the alpaca industry - and we love it!Discovering how much we enjoyed them, our agricultural focus became the Alpacas and we eventually sold our our cow-calf operation. We continue to grow our own hay, straw and grain crops and now board, breed and raise Alpacas…the perfect livestock. Our second generation, half-section farm is located 60 kilometers north west of Edmonton off Hwy 43 (10 km south of Onoway). We are very excited to be featured on the Travel Alberta Website!
